Uluwatu
indonesia
Most people know Indonesia through Bali, and it deserves its reputation: rice terraces, temples, a creative food scene and beautiful resorts.
But Bali is only the start. Java has the temples of Borobudur and Prambanan, Komodo has its dragons and pink beaches, Raja Ampat has some of the richest reefs on earth, and Sumba is wild and beautiful.
We often combine a few nights inland in Ubud with a beach, and add a boat trip or a remote island for something special.
