montenegro

the adriatic's hidden bay

Montenegro is small but spectacular. The Bay of Kotor winds inland between steep mountains, with medieval towns like Kotor and Perast along its shores.

Down the coast, the island village of Sveti Stefan is one of the most photographed places in the Adriatic, and Luštica Bay and Porto Montenegro have excellent resorts. Inland, the mountains of Durmitor offer lakes and gorges.

It pairs perfectly with Dubrovnik, just over the border.
