vietnam

a long country with a lot to say

Vietnam stretches more than 1,600 kilometres from north to south, and a journey down its length is one of the great trips in Asia.

Start in Hanoi’s old quarter, spend a night on a private junk in Ha Long or Lan Ha Bay, then fly to the central coast for the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An and the imperial city of Hue. Finish in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta, or on a quiet beach.

The food alone is worth the trip, and the resorts on the central and southern coasts are superb.
