zimbabwe

the guides' country

Zimbabwe’s professional guides are some of the best trained in Africa, and they make a safari here special. Mana Pools is a favourite for walking and canoeing on the Zambezi, with elephants among the winterthorn trees.

Hwange is known for its large elephant herds and predators, and the private conservancy of Malilangwe in the south-east has excellent rhino viewing.

Most people arrive at Victoria Falls, where the view from the Zimbabwe side takes in most of the falls. It’s a simple place to start or finish a trip to Botswana or Zambia.
